Biodiversity loss is underway – is it already game over?

Finnish Nature Centre Haltia’s new Game Over? special exhibition deals with biodiversity loss and climate change in a participatory and gamified way. One in nine species in Finland is endangered and the situation is critical, but we believe that the trend can still be reversed. In the exhibition, you are not just a spectator, but an active player whose everyday choices matter.

You will have the opportunity to reflect on the impact of your choices and discover solutions that suit you personally through a gamified experience based on scientific research. We promise that you will leave Haltia with at least one concrete action you can take to strengthen biodiversity starting today.

Opening ceremony 23.5.2026

We organised the opening of the exhibition on 23 May, when we celebrated the opening of the special exhibition and explored the theme of biodiversity loss. During the day, you could experience Game Over? exhibition free of charge, participate in discussions and meet experts working with biodiversity.
